Fasting on the 15th of Shaban is also considered a Sunnah, and is encouraged to purify oneself spiritually.

Hadith about the 15th of Shaban
The Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί said:
βWhen it is the fifteenth night of Sha’ban, Allah looks at His creation and forgives all His servants, except for two people: a mushrik (polytheist) and a person who harbors malice towards others.β
